Welcome to the Sandy Back Porch band. Our team of instrumentalists and vocalists have been performing for years. Our goal is to provide Central Florida with quality music for everyone's enjoyment. Our selection of cover songs is sure to please and we are adding to our list daily. Stan Burns began playing guitar professionally when he was 13 years old. He toured nationally, headlining with Charlie Cline. He delights audiences with wonderful Johnny Cash sounding vocals.
Mike Heffinger’s musical roots go back to his family’s bluegrass band in North Carolina. As a young adult he played hard core rock and roll but when his Dad gave him a banjo, he found a home playing hard-driving bluegrass banjo.
Freddy Burky is a multi-instrumentalist although he prefers playing fiddle or guitar. He played in Orlando’s tourist district for years as the fiddling country bear in Disney's Country Bear Jamboree and at Church Street Station's Cheyenne Saloon.
